• A major sign of insecurity is constantly comparing oneself with others.

• I often ask myself one of the most existential questions of all: What if I have lost touch with the ‘reality’ most of us agree it is that I became so absolutely detached from it, would I know? Then shattering the eerie silence of the night there comes a comforting voice whispering in my ear: “It still won’t matter. We’re all mad here.”

• A common characteristic between all neurotic people is a lack of flexibility.

• There is nothing like finding those whose passions vibe with yours.

• I like hitting people right in the feels. But only with my feels.

• Those who know know they don’t know. For the more the knowledge, the humbler one becomes.

• Some people rarely ever connect the dots in life. Others do connect them but end up being overwhelmed by the amount of information. Then there are those who connect the dots and are also able to make use of them. For the latter group, patterns become the real Guru which help them understand the relationship between different ideas and experiences.

• I reckoned over the years that it takes a considerable amount of energy just to be myself.

• Insecurity can be so self-defeating, that it often leads to a non-life. 

• Whenever I stop the microwave before the due time I always follow it by pressing on the ‘Clear’ button to reset the timer. I do so to make it easier for myself the next time I use it — or for someone else. It’s quite similar to back-in parking.
